SAUNDERS, SANDRA ANNE MARIE - Sandra Anne Marie Saunders of Rothesay, wife of J. Wesley Saunders, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Imelda (Chaisson) Martin. In addition to her loving husband of 39 years, Sandra is survived by two sons, Kevin and Christopher; a daughter, Michelle Rogers (Chuck) and grandson Ethan; four brothers, Brian (Vivian), Gerald (Connie), Luciene, and Adelard; a sister, Patricia Tays (Gordie); her mother-in-law, Muriel Saunders; and several nieces and nephews. Sandra was predeceased by her sister, Joanne; a brother, Gerald; and her father-in-law, Jack Saunders. The family would like to offer its thanks to Dr. Eshwar Kumar, Dr. Joe McLaughlin, the staff of the Saint John Regional Hospital Oncology Department, and all family and friends who helped through this difficult time. A private family service will be held at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (634-7424) on Thursday morning.
