It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean Boone announce her passing on Tuesday, April 8th, 2008 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son: Allan Boone, Corner Brook; daughter: Audrey (Reginald) Wheeler, Corner Brook; one grandson: Wayne (Sara) Wheeler, St. John’s; sister: Gwen (Fred) Noble, St. John’s; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Arminius (2000); son: Arminius Jr (1979), enfant daughter, Holly; brothers: Bruce and Robert Pretty; brothers-in-law: Hollie Leamon Boone and Elijah Ambrose Boone; sister-in-law: Myrtle Grybowski. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. and on Thursday morning, 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 10th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church, Park Drive. Rev. Canon Gordon Druggett officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot, Townsite cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
