BURNETT, SARAH "VICTORIA" - The death of Victoria Burnett occurred at the Loch Lomond Villa on June 9th, 2008. Born in Bains Corner, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Annie (McWhinney) Armstrong and wife of the late Gordon Burnett. Victoria was a long time member of Eastern Starr and the Orange Lodge. She was a member of the St. Martins Baptist Church. Victoria was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by two sons, David (Lorna) Burnett of Saint John East and Terrance "Terry" (Lynne) Burnett of Plumweseep, NB; three grandchildren, Trisha Janssen of Sussex, NB, Stephanie Burnett and Michael Burnett both of Saint John, NB.; two great grandchildren, Bradley G. Janssen and Allison B. Janssen; as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by four sisters, Jennie Hughes, Rebecca Boucher, Mary Beatteay and Rena Gilcrest; two brothers, Russell Armstrong and Donald Armstrong. Resting at the Cavanagh Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) from where the service will be held on Wednesday June 11th at 11:00 am. Interment in Brown's Cemetery, Bains Corner. Visiting Tuesday 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Donations to the NB Lung Association or Brown's Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
