SNODGRASS, GRETA C. - The death of Greta Christina Snodgrass, formerly of Sussex, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on June 13, 2008. Greta was born in Saint John in 1920, a daughter of the late George and Olga (Walker) Hanson. She is survived by her daughter, Eileen Taylor of Picadilly; brother, Lloyd Hanson (Juanita) of Sussex Corner; sisters, Gladys Sherwood of Upperton, Doris Olson of Cassidy Lake, and Wendy Bach of Poodiac; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Greta was predeceased by her partner, Edgar (Mickey) Burnett; daughter, Shirley Brewer; great granddaughter, Jackie Brewer; brothers, Bill and Gordon; and sister, Pam McKay. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506) 433-2133 on Monday 3-5 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday June 17, 2008 at 10:30 am. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery, Saint John. www.sussexfh.com
