ALBERTS, RUTH E. - The death of Ruth Eleanor Alberts occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on June 14, 2008 at the age of 76. Born in Saint John, NB a daughter of the late Harry and Thelma (Griffin) Marr and the wife of the late Ronald Anthony Alberts who passed away in 1986. She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Anne Middleton (Reynolds) of Head of Millstream and Karen Lavoie Alberts of Oromocto, sons; Ronald Alberts (Debbie Henderson) of Sussex, Randy Alberts (Evelyn) of Quebec, Tony Alberts (Karen) of Port Elgin, ON., and Daryl Alberts (Doreen) of Head of Millstream; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Debbie Wilcox (Lloyd) of Oromocto and Brenda Haig of Saint John; brothers, Eric Marr (Sue) of Saint John, Paul Marr (Carrie) of Sussex, Gary Marr (Linda) of Saint John. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was predeceased by her great-grandson, Kyle Middleton; grandson, Ronald Craig Alberts Jr.; daughter-in-law, Maxine; sisters, Sharon Marr, Gloria Scott and Eleanor Marr; brothers, Douglas, David and Reginald Marr. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Monday from 7 to 9 PM and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 18, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at Kirk Hill Cemetery, Sussex.
