MACLEOD, DORIS ISABELLE - Peacefully at home, St. Stephen, NB, on June 23, 2008. Doris was born in St. Stephen, the daughter of the late Gladys (Hieatt) and Kenneth Dinsmore. Predeceased by husband, Glen, son, David and sister, Ernestine. She was the last surviving member of her family. She is survived by sons, Jeffrey (Anne), Rothesay, NB, John, Edmonton, Alberta; daughter, Carolyn Carson (Tom), Dufferin, Charlotte Co. NB; daughter-in-law, Nancy, St. Stephen, NB; grandchildren, Erika, Emily, Thomas and Leah; nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by many friends, especially Vera Short. Doris is remembered as a caring and generous person. She was a member of the Christ Church (Anglican), former member of the St. Stephen Curling Club, St. Stephen Golf Club and various bridge clubs. Her family was her priority and St. Stephen was home. Funeral Service will be held at the Christ Anglican Church, Prince William Street, St. Stephen, NB on Thursday June 26, 2008 at 2 PM. Interment at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
