FRIDOLIN MCCLURE

MCCLURE, FRIDOLIN - At the Grand Falls Manor, June 24, 2008, Mr. Fridolin McClure of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 85 years. He was the husband of Juliette (Levesque) McClure. Born at Drummond in 1922, he was a son of the late Isaac and Helene (Desjardins) McClure. Mr. McClure began his career working in a local garage in 1952. He later became the founder of F. McClure & Sons Ltd., the local Toyota dealership. He was a member of the Grand Falls Golden Age Club. Besides his wife, he is survived by three children, Donald (Connie Rideout) and Jacques (Lise Levesque) of Grand Falls and Patricia (Warren Smith) of Montreal, Quebec; ten grandchildren, David, Louis, Pierre, Melissa, Brigitte, France, Paulo, Renée, Natalie and Patrick; seven great grandchildren, Meghan, Katie, Madison, Olivia, Jackson, Taylor and William; one sister, Sister Colette McClure of Lac-au-Saumon, Quebec; as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Narcisse and Yvon. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. His funeral will be held Thursday, June 26th at 11 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the Assumption Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Grand Falls Manor Memorial Fund or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
