CORBETT, PHYLLIS EVELYN - The death of Phyllis Evelyn Corbett of Saint John, NB, formerly of Millidgeville, wife of the late John Donald Douglas Corbett, occurred on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Home. Born on June 22, 1918 in Glassville, NB, she was a daughter of the late John and Sarah (Hart) McFarland. Phyllis was a member of Portland United Church. She is survived by two sons, John (Lorna) Corbett of Riverview, NB and Ronald (Paulette) Corbett of Coquitlam, BC; five grandchildren, Stacey (Ron Girouard) Corbett of Riverview, Shelley (Dan) LeBlanc of Brass Hill, NS, Scott (Nichole) Corbett of Fredericton, NB, Jason Corbett of Coquitlam and Jonathan (Janessa) Corbett of Langley, BC; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Kristen Girouard of Riverview and Maryn Corbett of Langley. She was predeceased by her husband and a brother, John McFarland. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 11 am. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
