ROBERT N. RICHARDSON

RICHARDSON, ROBERT N. - Unexpectedly at the Charlotte County Hospital on Wednesday, June, 25th, 2008; at the age of 87; Robert Newton Richardson, husband of Dorothy M. (Painter) Richardson of St. Stephen, NB, formerly of Spring Street, Milltown. Born in McAdam, NB he is the son of the late Lorne and Minnie (Pelton) Richardson. Robert was a veteran of World War II serving as Sargeant in the Royal Canadian Air Force. After the war he worked with the Customs and Excise Division of Revenue Canada as an Inspector for 25 years. He was a faithful member of St. Peters Anglican Church, Milltown and was also a member of the St. Croix Legion, Branch 9. Surviving in addition to his wife, Dororthy are his two daughters, Mary Sheehan (Barry) of Blacks Harbour, Karen Ross (Bruce) of Waweig; three sons, Robert (Linda) of McAdam, Lorne (Joyce) of Ottawa, and Neil of Milltown; one brother, Paul of Kanata, Ont; one sister, Norma Whitlock (George) of Ont; eight grandchildren, Angela, Melanie, Kari, Kyle, Elise, Matthew, Christopher and Jennifer; six great grandchildren, Bill, Samantha, Benjamin, Emmet, Sawyer and Landen. Robert was predeceased by brothers, Wendell and Raymond; sisters, Mary and Eleanor. By Robert's request there will be no visitation at the funeral home, however friends are welcomed to attend a service of remembrance to be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 10am St. Peters Anglican Church, Milltown, NB. A Tribute to a Veteran Service will also be conducted during the funeral service. The interment will follow in Bayside Cemetery, Sandy Point. Donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
