BERNARD, SHANNON - At Perth-Andover, June 26, 2008, Miss Shannon Bernard, 13, of Grand Falls passed away by accident, following an incident at Grand Falls a week earlier. Born at Grand Falls in 1994, she was the youngest daughter of Daniel and Julie (Carey) Bernard. Shannon was a student of John Caldwell School. Besides her parents, Julie and Danny, she is survived by three sisters, Ashley, Jessica and Audrey; maternal grandparents, Frank Carey of Michigan and Shirley Carey of Texas, paternal grandparents, Omer and Margery Bernard of Rivière-Verte, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins and numerous friends. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Sunday, June 29th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Monday, June 30th at 2 p.m. from the Assumption Church, Grand Falls, with Rev. Lorne Freake officiating. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery, Grand Falls.
