MILLEY, JOHN VERNON - 71 - Halifax, NS. Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side in the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, on July 1, 2008. Born in Saint John, NB on July 16 1936. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Cline) and loving father to Murray-John (Nadia), Gregory (Kelly) and Roxanna (Jeff). Sister, Marion Hall (Jim Carlisle). Grandchildren, Gregory (Amanda), Corinne, Christopher, Bradley, Kara, Jonathan, Colin, Evan. Great Granddaughters, Emma and Chloe. Many nieces and nephews. Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Eleanor and Ross McCarten, Jean and Murray Ford and Coreen and Pieter Vanderwerf. Predeceased by his father William Wesley, mother Marion (Maxwell) and brother Larry. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held at Mattatall Funeral Home, Sat. July 5, 2008, Portland St., Dartmouth at 1 pm. Officiating will be Chaplain Keis Zwanenburg. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
