ARSENAULT, MARLENE FAY - Marlene Fay Arsenault devoted wife of John J. Arsenault passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 16th, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. Born May 8,1951 in Saint John to the late Arthur and Pearl Francis (Moore) Nicolle. Devoted wife, mother and grandmother she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Marlene was a talented artist, seamstress, cake decorator, floral arranger and writer. Besides her husband John of 38 years, she is survived by sons, Michael Anthony (Darlene) of Saint John, Ernest Edward (Kelley) of Saint John; grandson, Colby Joseph Edward; daughter, Pamela Marie Arsenault Ferris (Brian) of Saint John; grandson, Preston Joseph Nicholas; very dear brother, Terry (Valerie) Bizeau of Saint John; brothers, Clarence (Odette) Nicolle of Saint John, Kenneth Arthur of BC, Harold Bizeau of Halifax, NS; sisters, Betty Ann (Joseph) Doucette of Saint John, Erina May (Russell) Hudson, of Saint John; special niece, Fay Clark of Saint John; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Besides her parents and stepfather Earl Crowe, Marlene was predeceased by a brother, Roy and sisters, Hazel and Colleen. Memorial service will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday July 18th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
