LATHAM, LESLIE MARGUERITE - The death of L. Marguerite Latham, 81, of Hampton, NB, occurred at the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre on Tuesday, July 22, 2008. She was the wife of the late Theodore Latham and the daughter of the late Sterling (Butch) and Thelma (Cromwell) Northrup. Marguerite is survived by her daughter, Linda Higgins of Long Point; granddaughters, Deborah and Phil Childs of Kingston, and Karen Higgins and John Clarke of Morrisdale; great grandchildren, Scott Childs and Regan Lester; brother, Claude (Bud) and Garda Northrup of Sussex; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Detective Bill Higgins. The family will receive visitors at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. A private interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Saint John, NB.
