SHIELS, KAREN ANNE - The death of Karen Anne Shiels of Saint John occurred on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on August 10, 1952 a daughter of the late Ronald and Julia (Rooney) Shiels. Survived by her son, Chris LeBlanc (Angela Garnett); a brother, Keith Shiels; a sister, Charlene (Manfred) Quapp; grandson, Kamryn Ray Garnett-LeBlanc; special friend, Danny Nodwell and three nieces. Predeceased by her parents and a grandson, Ashton John Garnett-LeBlanc. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm. Graveside Service and interment will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 10 am at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
