It is with great sadness that the family of the late Llewellyn Jones Hunt announce his passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Monday, February 25, 2008 at the age of 90 years. He was a member of the 59th Royal Artillery. He will be sadly missed by five brothers: Loyal Hunt and Cecil Hunt, both of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Bill (Myra) Hunt of Ontario, Wade (Gloria) Hunt of Nova Scotia, Tunney (Audrey) Hunt of Boswarlos, 28 nieces, 21 nephews, special aunt Marguerite Gillam and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Joseph and Annie Hunt and step-mother Rebecca Hunt, sisters: Stella Tarbox, Marjorie Young, Blanche Flynn, Dinah Hunt, Dulcie Baker, Freda Hepditch, Violet Harvey, brother Martin Hunt, special friend Laura Glasgow, special uncle Burt Hynes and aunt Louise Hynes. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 28th at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Anglican Church, Port au Port East with interment in the St. James Anglican Cemetery in Port au Port East. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Daffodil House, St. John’s or to the St. James Anglican Church Memorial Fund would be greatly appreciated.
