WALLACE, FRANCIS J. - The death of Francis Joseph (Franny) Wallace of Saint John occurred on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Saint John on October 14, 1932, he was a son of the late Fred G. and Diana (LeBlanc) Wallace. Francis was employed for 25 years in the laundry department of the Saint John General Hospital and the Saint John Regional Hospital, and was a long time member of the Buffalo Club. In his younger years, he also sailed with the Coast Guard. Francis is survived by three brothers; Ray Wallace, Jimmy Wallace (Rose), and George Wallace, all of Saint John; and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Theresa Wallace, and brothers; Fred, Albert, and Clarence. Resting at Brenan's Bayview Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425), with visiting on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 AM from St. Rose of Lima Church, Milford. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
