LEBLANC, LEO GERALD - Leo Gerard Leblanc, age 65 years of Saint John, N.B. passed away in Lawrencetown N.S. on August 4, 2008. I lost my best friend and my children have lost an" awesome Dad". God has called him home to rest. Leo is leaving behind a very sad family. He will be so greatly missed by me his wife, Carolann Laird; his daughter, Annette; son, Lee (Sylvia); his grandchildren who were the greatest joy in his life, Andrew and Emily and his step grandchildren, Matthew and Krystal. His brothers and sisters who he loved dearly, Marcel and Leanne (predeceased), Ronnie and Jane, Mark and Debbie, Dale and Jimmy; and his cousin, Joey, who he always felt was his brother; as well as nephews and nieces and extended family. Leo is predeceased by his mother and father, Annie LeBlanc and Marshall LeBlanc; brother, Rodney; and step father, Arthur Gilligan. Leo fought very hard to stay with us, but cancer won out. In his life Leo was very involved with Marriage Encounter, Cursillo and Teen Encounter. He had great love for all the youth he worked with. God is truly receiving a wonderful gift in Leo.
