WILCOX, DANNY CRAIG - At the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital on August 6, 2008, Danny C. Wilcox of Fredericton passed away at the age of 59. Born in North Head, Grand Manan, on June 22, 1949, he was a son of the late Brenton and Flora (Hubbard) Wilcox. Danny was a welder by trade. He loved hunting and fishing, especially spending time on his boat at the Bay of Fundy, Mactaquac, or East Grand Lake. Survived by his spouse Karen (Daigle); dear companion Joy Booker; children Danny Alderman, Evan Vigieau, Shauna McAleer(Michael), Sherri Brawn, Chad and Troy Gallagher; sisters Lana Parks(Hugh), Theresa Wilcox, and Rosalie Wilcox; brothers Vaughan and Phillip Wilcox; three grandchildren; uncle Hazen Wilcox; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Robert Allen. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road on Friday August 8th, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Faith Baptist Church, New Maryland NB on Saturday, August 9th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Larry Matthews officiating. Interment to follow in the adjoining Cemetery.
