HAWKES, HARRY IRVIN - The death of Harry Irvin. Hawkes husband of the late Dorothy (Wood) Hawkes occurred on Monday August 11, 2008 at The Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1926 he was the son of the late William and Mary (Chambers) Hawkes. Harry is survived by a brother Murray (Eileen), Waterford; a sister Mary Patterson, Sussex; a cousin Sandra (James) Atkinson, Saint John; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Harry was pre deceased by his wife Dorothy (Wood) Hawkes; brothers Robert, James and Roland; sisters Doris and Marjorie. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road Saint John, NB (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Tuesday August 12, 2008 from 2-4, 7-9. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 13, 2008 at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 PM. A reception will follow the funeral service. Interment will follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
