Son of the late Philip and Georgina (Gass) Murphy. Survived by his wife, Charlotte; his children, Joanne Cleghorn (Simon Berriault), Bocabec, NB, Lynette Fiander, St. Stephen, NB, Kevin Murphy (Trina Livingston), Oak Bay, NB, Vanessa Orr (Greg), Oak Bay, NB; son-in-law, Mark Fiander, Tower Hill, NB; three grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB from where funeral service will be held on Thursday August 14, 2008 at 2 pm. Interment at Rollingdam Cemetery, Rollingdam, NB. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday August 13, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
