DEN, BONITA ELIZABETH - It is with great sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Bonita on August 13,2008 in Fraser Canyon Hospital, Hope B.C. Bonita was born in Ludlow, New Brunswick on February 9, 1947. She had resided in Saint John, New Brunswick, Montreal, Quebec and Halifax, Nova Scotia before moving to Richmond, British Columbia in the late 1970's. Predeceased by her parents, Pat and Verda Chaisson; and brother, Mark. She is survived by her loving and loyal husband Larry; their seven children, Rick ,Roxanne, Sean, Rob, Jamie, Chris, and Kevin; two sisters, Theresa Ogden and Karen Basque; and one brother, Joe Chiasson. She was the proud grandmother of seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Bonita had a love of craft-making and became a very accomplished porcelain doll-maker. Throughout her life, she touched many people and helped them to cope with challenges in their lives as a proud member of A. A. for 31 years. Bonita always tried to rise above her own situation and think of others. Her family wishes to offer their heartfelt thanks to Pastor Jeff Kuhn and the many doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers she encountered over the years.
