CRAWFORD, DORIS - Doris Crawford of Plaster Rock passed away at Tobique Valley Manor on August 23, 2008. Born in Odell, NB on December 23, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Fern (Finnamore) Lawson. Doris leaves behind her husband, Wendall Crawford; her children, Lois Jensen (Ronald) of Three Brooks, Candice Gallop of Norton, Tanya Hoyt (Leigh) of Perth-Andover, Jimmy Crawford (companion Anne McCormick) of Grand Falls; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; her daughter, Wenda Crawford; her grandson, Andrew Campbell; her sister, Edith Sprague; and her brothers Donald and George "Bud" Lawson. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 25, 2008 at 2 pm from St. George Anglican Church in Plaster Rock. Venerable Walter Williams officiating. Interment will be in St. Machutus Anglican Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of NB or to the Tobique Valley Manor would be appreciated by the family.
