MITCHELL, DOROTHY - Dorothy Mitchell of Quispamsis passed on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1926 to the late Peter and Blanche Langille. Dorothy worked for the Hartt Shoe Factory in Fredericton and for Fowler's Jewelry for many years. Devoted mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, Dorothy was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion Branch #69, Eastern Star and Knights of Pythias. She enjoyed cooking, watching sports and spending time with family and especially her dear friends from the Kings Valley Manor. She is survived by her son David Mitchell (Nancy) of Wickham; daughter Sandra Ogden (Robert) of Kentville, NS; brother Harold Langille (Gayle) of Barrie, ON; grandchildren Kelli, Jonathan, Ray, Jeffrey, Tim and Shelley; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends. A celebration of life will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) on Saturday August 30th, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
