It is with great sadness that the family of the late Martha Annette Pike announce her passing at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook on Friday, March 28, 2008 at the age of 89 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters: Greta (Lindy) Hunt, Fredericton, NB; Sylvia (Joe) Morris, Robinson’s; Anita (Bill) Webster, Bancroft, ON; grandchildren: Ramsey, Paula, Susan, Randy, Rosalie, James and Jeanine; eight great-grandchildren: sister-in-law: Evelyn Chaffey, as well as many other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Albert, four brothers and two sisters. The family will be receiving friends at St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church, St. David’s on Sunday beginning at 7:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Karen Laldin officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, St. David’s. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
