AUDREY IRENE LAW
LAW, AUDREY IRENE - Audrey Irene Law, daughter of Stanley and Winifred Dixon, born September 10, 1918 in Lower Norton, New Brunswick, passed away quietly at her residence in Suffern, NY on August 5, 2008. Audrey moved to the Bronx, New York in 1960 with her husband, the Rev. Basil G. Law of Fredericton, NB. The Rev. Law served as Rector of Saint James Episcopal Church in the Bronx for over thirty years. Audrey worked for many years at the Hart & Hume Law Firm in Manhattan. After retirement, she and Basil moved from the Bronx to Suffern. The Rev. Law predeceased Audrey by several years. One son, David B., also predeceased Audrey in 1986. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Graham D. and Paula L. Law of Virginia, and one daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia D. and Mauro Palladino of New Jersey. She has three grandsons. One sister and brother-in-law, Ruth E. and Harold G. Thomson, reside in Saint John, NB., and several nieces and nephews. Interment was on Friday, August 8 in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Hastings-on-Hudson in NY.
