MARKS, HAROLD CHESTER - The death of Harold Marks of Saint John occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 18, 2008. He was born in Fredericton on January 17, 1936 to the late Clarence and Marie Elizabeth (Bourque) Marks. He is survived by his son, Blair Marks of Toronto, ON and his mother, Norma Budgel of Saint John; one brother Doug Marks (Joan) of Saint John; two grandchildren: Julie and Kyle Marks of Toronto, ON and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Harold was predeceased by one son, Darcy Michaelis; one daughter, Gail Marks and three brothers: Bernie, Gerry and Aronld Marks. Harold also has two estranged brothers: Herbert and David Marks. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). At Harold's request there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at Brenan's Chapel on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 2:30 pm. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
