It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Bennett announces her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at the age of 78 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her son, Arthur (Roslyn) of Corner Brook; granddaughters: Natasha (Dean) Barker of Corner Brook and Elizabeth-Ann (Kevin) Hull of Corner Brook; great grandchildren: Nathan Barker, Melissa Barker and Ethan Hull; sisters: Alice Caines of Deer Lake and Marie White of Pasadena; brothers: Ronald Bennett (Melvina) of Corner Brook, William Bennett (Jean) of Corner Brook, Lawrence Bennett of Pasadena, Gerald Bennett (Joyce) of Pasadena, Donald Bennett (Carolyn) of British Columbia, Albert Bennett (Christina) of Pasadena, and Robert Bennett (Rhoda) of Pasadena; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Israel Benoit; sisters: Martha and Mildred; brothers: Charles, Edward and Bernard; brothers-in-law: Phillip Beales, Augustus Caines and George White; sister-in-law, Jean Foote; and very special friend, Rita Seaward. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday, February 1, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, February 2, 2008 from 10 a.m.-12 noon. The funeral service will take place at Holy Rosary Parish, Pasadena at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2008 with interment to follow at the R.C. Cemetery, Pasadena.
