MARKS, HAROLD CHESTER - The death of Harold Marks of Saint John occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 18, 2008. He was born in Fredericton on January 17, 1936 to the late Clarence and Mary Elizabeth (Bourque) Marks. He is survived by his son, Blair Marks of Toronto, ON and Blair's mother, Norma Budgell of Saint John; three brothers: Doug Marks (Joan) of Saint John and Herbert and David Marks of Western Canada; two grandchildren, Julie and Kyle Marks of Toronto, ON and several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Harold was predeceased by one daughter, Gail Marks; one son, Darcy Michaelis and three brothers: Bernie, Gerry and Arnold Marks. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). At Harold's request there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at Brenan's Chapel on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 2:30 pm. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
