LOCKE, FRANK SHELDON - of Castalia Grand Manan Island passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital Monday September 22, 2008. Born on August 25, 1924 he was the son of the late Ashton and Ida (Mason) Locke. He worked as interior and exterior decorator for most of his working life and later worked for 14 years as the maintenance engineer at the Grand Manan High School. He was a faithful servant of the Lord and his family and his home were the love and passion in life. Frank is survived by his wife Mrs. Marshell Locke, his daughter Ravona Green of Woodwards Cove, his son John Locke (Lorraine) of Miramichi. One sister Mrs. Marion Reppert of Castalia, two brothers Mr. Brenton Locke of Grand Harbour and Mr. Ray Locke of Castalia. Four grand children and nine great grandchildren, many nieces nephews and friends He was predeceased by one grand daughter Renee, two sisters Helen Richardson, and Katrina Locke, also two brothers John and Edison Locke. Visiting hours will be held at Ells Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the Central Wesleyan Church on Thursday at 1:30 pm with Rev. George Clark officiating and Rev. Ron Ford assisting. The interment will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
