BRADLEY (BRAD) GEORGE COLWELL

COLWELL, BRADLEY (BRAD) GEORGE - On Sunday, September 21, 2008, a remarkable young man was taken by accident in Edmonton, AB. Bradley (Brad) George Colwell was born in Calgary, AB, July 29, 1983 and spent the majority of his childhood in Fredericton. He leaves devoted parents, Jeanie (Colwell) Brebner and Stephen Colwell (Kim); his dear sister and brother, Janna, Toronto ON and Bryan, at home. The three siblings enjoyed an extremely tight and supportive bond and Janna and Bryan will have many special memories to carry them through their lives. Numerous caring Aunts, Uncles, special cousins and a wonderful set of Brad's friends and 'poker buddies' will all ensure that his special spirit is kept alive. Brad will be remembered for his great smile, easy going nature, love of adventure and his wonderful, quirky sense of humor. Brad enjoyed many sports and played hockey, baseball and soccer and, like his dear dad, was a huge Toronto Maple Leaf fan. He graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 2006 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and had recently moved to Edmonton where he was employed with Metalogic Inspection Services, Inc. Brad's priorities were family and friends first and his good nature was truly a gift to all. We have been blessed to have him in our lives. 'Strength and Honor' son. We will continue to "Fight the Good Fight". The family will receive visitors at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, September 27th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place at St. Paul's United Church on Sunday, September 28th, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Scott Wood officiating. A reception will take place at the church immediately following the funeral service. Pallbearers will be Jason Misener, Brian Dunphy, Luke DeWitt, Mitch Baker, Jeremy Ames and Rob Pugliese. Interment will take place in the Jemseg Community Cemetery following the reception. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the MS Society would be appreciated by the family.
