JOSEPH CHESTER ANGLEHART
ANGLEHART, JOSEPH CHESTER - Of Campbellton , NB, passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on August 25, 2008. Born on March 24, 1943 in Campbellton, NB, he was the son of the late Mathias Anglehart (2002) and the late Lily May Baker (1978). In addition of his wife, Sharon (Berube), married for 42 years; Chester was survived by his, daughters, Stephanie (Pierre Paulin) Anglehart, Campbellton, NB, Kristina (Tim) Aston, Ottawa, ON; grandson, Justin Anglehart, Campbellton, NB; sisters, Victoria (Roy Sr.) Spencer, Bangor, ME, Joanne McLaughlin (Angel Lopez), Kissimmee, FL; brothers, Arthur (Dayle) Paulin, Unicoi, TN, Peter Paulin, Colorado; godmother, Roseanne Olscamp, Stoney Creek (Hamilton) ON. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Chester was a Journeyman Electrician for 42 years. He was also a member of United Commercial Travellers (UCT) for 35 years. He served as local Council Secretary-Treasurer for 18 years, on the Atlantic Board for 6 years and also served as Grand Chaplain. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, (IBEW) local 2166 for 36 years - was Unit Chairperson for the Campbellton Unit and also served as President for 9 years. The funeral mass was held at the Saint Thomas Aquinas Church, Campbellton with Father Benoit officiating. Eulogy for Chester was read by long time friend, John Lind, Coldbrook, NS, with special hymns sung by the Saint Thomas Aquinas Church Choir and his favourite hymn "Ave Maria" sung by close friend Aline LeCouffe. Pallbearers were Marc Charest, Tom Berube, Gerald Dumont, John Lind and Irvine Keeley. Honorary Pallbearers were, Louis Doucet, Roger Santerre, Ralph LeCouffe, Bill Doiron, Mark Geraghty, Normand Bergeron, Raymond Joncas and Roger Baker. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home and interment was at the Saint Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Campbellton, NB. Donations were given to the Cancer Society and the NB Lung Association.
