MARR, KATHERINE LORETTA - The death of Katherine Loretta Marr of Saint John, NB, wife of the late James Marr, occurred on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on May 3, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mildred (Davidson) Brookins. Survived by her three sons, Ronnie (Tina) Marr, Donnie (Rhonda) Marr and Wayne Marr all of Saint John; two brothers, Ronald and Jack Brookins both of Saint John; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son, Patrick Marr, daughter, Kathy Brideau and sister Constance Reid. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 11:30 am. Interment will be in Fernhill Cemetery.
