It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Theresa Carey (Lyver) announce her passing at her residence in the presence of her loving family, in Bishop’s Falls on February 17, 2008 at the age of 80. Mary was a member of the Sacred Heart Parish of Bishop’s Falls. She is predeceased by husband Wilfred and son John. Left with fond and loving memories are her sons Gerard (Anna Rose) of Germany, Wilfred (Dina) of Bishop’s Falls, Thomas (Marilyn) of Bishop’s Falls, Gus (Colleen) of Corner Brook, and Allan (Janet) of St. John’s; daughter Rosalie (Kevin Fancey) of St. John’s. Also leaving to mourn nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren, special friend Julia Morgan, along with a large circle of relatives and friends. Father Linus Coady will conduct the funeral service at the Sacred Heart Church in Bishop’s Falls on February 20, 2008 at 11:15 a.m. Interment at the Roman Catholic cemetery in Bishop’s Falls. Pallbearers are Jeffery Carey, Jason Carey, Daniel Carey, Patrick Carey, Chad Hamilton and Kevin Fancey. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.
