LIONEL JOSEPH LEBLANC
LEBLANC, LIONEL JOSEPH - Lionel Joseph LeBlanc of Saint John West, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on February 20th, 1921, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Edmund and Elizabeth (Williams) LeBlanc. Lionel was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great - grandfather. Mr. LeBlanc enjoyed working on old cars and bowling. Surviving are his wife of 63 years Yvonne (Vautour) LeBlanc, children; Geraldine LeBlanc, Calgary, Alta; David, Qualicum Beach, B.C.; Judy MacKay, Edmonton, Alta; Ralph of South Bay; Mary Anne LeBlanc, Saint John; Marcella Milligan, Waverley, N.S.; Connie Haddad, Victoria, B.C.; Rose Camier, Calgary, Alta.; Beth Wilson, Orleans, Ont.; Karen Bethune, Hampton; Angela Harper, Moncton; Janet Kempster, Quispamsis; brothers, Joseph and Adrice, of Saint John; sisters, Rita Mattinson and Clarice Bond, both of Edmonton, Alta, Diana Gerrior, Saint John; 30 grandchildren, 19 great - grandchildren. He was predeceased by children, Joseph and Theresa in infancy, brothers George and Arthur, and sister Margaret Vitale. Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m and Friday from 2 to 4, 7 to 9 pm in Castle Funeral Home "Fallsview Chapel" (634- 1701), 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Rose of Lima on Saturday at 10 am. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
