MAZEROLLE, RITA - The death of Rita Mazerolle, loving wife for 53 years to Vic Mazerolle of Rothesay occurred at her residence on Tuesday October 7, 2008. Born in 1933 she was the daughter of the late Xavier and Gudith (Sonier) Robichaud. Rita worked for St. Joseph's Hospital and at the French Pastry for many years; she enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Samuel de Champlain Bowling League and a member of Saint-François-de-Sales Church and Choir. Rita enjoyed golfing with Vic, going for walks and spending time with family and friends, she was a devoted wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law and friend. Besides her husband Vic, she is survived by one son Daniel Mazerolle of Rothesay; one brother Prudent Robichaud (Ernestine) of Campbellton; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, Rita was predeceased by one brother George Louis Robichaud. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Wednesday October 8, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Saint-Françoise-de- Sales Catholic Church on Thursday October 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
