SEAMANS, LEONA MAE - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB, on October 13, 2008, Mrs. Leona Mae (Norman) Seamans, wife of Mr. Norman L. Seamans of St. George, NB. Born at St. George, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Elizabeth (MacNichol) Norman. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Leona is survived by her husband, Norman; two sons, Herbie (Nancy) Seamans of Quispamsis, NB, and Kenneth (Cindy) Seamans of St. George; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Chester (Sylvia) Norman of St. Stephen, NB; one sister, Marguerite Wentworth of St. George; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Leona was a caring person who loved her family. She kept active by being a life time member of the St. George Curling Club and a member of the Beau's and Belle's Square Dancers, Saint John, NB. She enjoyed spending her quiet time gardening. By Leona's request there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 2pm at the St. George Rural Cemetery with Rev. Keith Osborne officiating. In Leona's memory, donations to the Charlotte Count Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
