LYNCH, JOHN MICHAEL - John Michael Lynch of Red Head devoted husband of Bertha (Morrison) Lynch passed away on Saturday October 11, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born 1933 in Saint John to the late William and Beryl (Henwood) Lynch. John worked for Centracare in the maintenance and engineering department for 30 years retiring in 1992. He was a member of the McAllister Mall, "Liar's Club" and the "Aliant Coffee Group" and a former member of the St. Mary's band. John was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Besides his wife Bertha of 48 years he survived by his son and family Brad (Carol) their children Amanda and Troy all of Dundee, NB; daughter and her family Shawna Spinks (Paul) and granddaughter, Payton all of Quispamsis; step-brother, William and step-sister, Joan both of Saint John; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by two brothers, Lorne and Harry and two sisters, Ethel and Margaret. Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) with visitation on Monday October 13, 2008 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Private graveside services will be held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date.
