SMITH, EVERETT WILLIAM - Peacefully at the residence of his daughter, at Beaver Harbour NB, on October 18th , 2008 Mr. Everett William Smith of Deer Island NB. Born at St. Stephen NB on August 26, 1947, he was a son of the late Thomas and Sarah (Caswell) Smith. A loving father, grandfather, and brother, he is survived by two daughters; Patricia Lord of Lords Cove NB and Theresa Freake (Daryn DeMerchant) of Beaver Harbour, one son, Clifford Smith of Alberta, one granddaughter, Taya of Lords Cove, one sister, Evelyn (John) Vink and one brother, Howard (Zelda) Smith both of Deer Island and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one sister, Marg Lord. Prior to his illness, Everett was employed at Future Nets, Pennfield NB. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed reading. Resting at the Lords Cove Church of Christ, Deer Island, from where the service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm. Visiting at the church will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm. In Everett's memory, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
