RANIERI, DOMENICO - The death of Mr. Domenico Ranieri of Richmond, Ontario, husband of Anna (Dilisio) Ranieri, occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 20, 2008. Born in Cheiti, Italy on December 29, 1935 he was the son of the late Giacomo and Elena (DiPrinzio) Ranieri. Mr. Ranieri is survived by his wife Anna, son Domenico Jr., daughters Stefania, Lisa and her husband Paul Brown and Giulia and her husband Lawrence Bélec, sisters Assunta, Maria, and Carmela, his grandchildren Sheena Laflamme, Dana Laflamme, Jenna Laflamme, and Shanelle Drouin. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Guido. Mr. Ranieri owned and operated East Coast Rental Equipment Ltd., Murphy's Storage, and D.R. Management Ltd. in Saint John. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home (634-1701), 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West. Visiting for his friends and family will be on Thursday from 7 - 9 p.m. only.
