PIRIE, ELEANOR - Eleanor Pirie of Sussex passed away on October 22, 2008 at the age of 78. Eleanor was the wife of the late Omar Pirie and she is survived by her children: Lois Paris (Ralph) of Brockville, On., Jackie Smith (Millage) of Moncton, Sharon Giljam (Daniel) of Maryland, USA, and Nancy Dyer (Ralph) of Sussex; her son Dan Pirie (Paula) of Tobique, First Nations; her son-in-law, Mark Sullivan of Belleville, On., three brothers: Adrian Hudson (Shirley) of Saint John, Gene Hudson (Cheryl) of PEI, Doug Hudson (Maxine) of Saint John; two sisters: Margaret McAllister (Arnold) of Lethbridge, Alberta and Dorothy Riemer (Bruce) of Victoria, BC; three sisters-in-law: Margaret Hudson of Oromocto and Betty Hudson of Lincoln and Eunice Hudson of Burlington, On.,18 grand children: 11 great grand children; as well as several nieces and nephews. Eleanor was predeceased by her son Richard, her daughter, Tricia Sullivan, three brothers; Ted, Ralph and Jack. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Celebration Eleanor's life will be held at Sussex Wesleyan Church on Saturday Morning at 11:00.
