RICE, EDNA MARY - Peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, October 24, 2008, widow of Phillip Victor (Sam) Rice. Edna was born in Doucetteville, Nova Scotia, a daughter of the late Frank and Beatrice (Amero) Robichaud. She is survived by her only child Allan (Butch) Rice and his wife Rose of Hampton. She is also survived by sisters, Kay Stark, Helen Robichaud and Emma McKay and brothers Ernie Robichaud, Fred (Shirley) Robichaud and Art (Pat) Robichaud. She was predeceased by her sister Laura Robichaud and her brothers Ralph, Pacen, Edward and Frank Robichaud. By Edna's own request there will be no visiting or funeral service. There will be a memorial service at a later date. Following cremation Edna will be buried in Digby, Nova Scotia with her beloved Sam. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of 5A North at the Regional Hospital. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
