GARRETT, HELEN - Mrs. Helen Garrett of Sussex passed away on October 26, 2008 at the age of 82. Helen was the wife of the late Jimmy Garrett who passed away in 1990, she is survived by two daughters: Donna Galley (Terry) of Ontario and Diane McEwen (Glen) of Smith Creek; three sisters: Muriel Day of Sussex, Viola Parlee (Ken) of Waterford and Leola Greer of Ontario, her brother: Ken Starkey of Grand Bay-Westfield, four grandchildren: as well as several nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased her companion Don Fountain who passed away in 2004, by three sisters: Ethel Seely, Beulah Hourihan, and Doll Ferris and by her brother Leland Starkey. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A Celebration of Helen's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery.
