RICHARDSON, ARLEEN DOROTHY- Peacefully at the Campobello Lodge Nursing Home, Campobello NB on November 9, 2008, Mrs. Dorothy Arleen (Davidson) Richardson, wife of the late Maxwell Richardson, formerly of Deer Island NB. Born at Robbinston ME on August 22, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Lavina (Johnson) Davidson. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, Dorothy is survived by one daughter, Maxine Malloch of Saint John NB, two sons; Wayne (Gloria) Richardson of Leonardville NB, Gene (Dawn) Richardson of St. George NB, eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, one sister, Lillian Davidson of Campobello, one brother, Eugene (Ellen) Johnson of Milltown NB and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband Maxwell, Dorothy was predeceased by four brothers, Seward Jr., Dale Conrad, Ronald and Chester and one sister, Alberta Mae Davidson. Dorothy was a long time member of the Leonardville Church of Christ, Leonardville NB, where she took part in many church functions including the choir. She loved reading and writing short stories and crocheting. Dorothy was an avid gardener who enjoyed her flowers and was a member of the OES Abanaki Lodge # 55, Deer Island. Resting at the Leonardville Church of Christ, Deer Island, from where service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Joel Bridges and Rev. Conrad Cline officiating with interment following at the Leonardville Community Cemetery. Visiting at the church on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. In Dorothy's memory donations to the Leonardville Church of Christ, Leonardville Cemetery Fund, or the Campobello Lodge Nursing Home or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family .
