(nee Parsons) Passed peacefully away at The Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. L.A. Miller Center, St. John's on Monday, July 28, 2008 in the presence of her loving family, Aletha Olive Bishop (nee Parsons), in her 80th year. Predeceased by her husband David George in 1983. Leaving to mourn and to celebrate her live, three children: Audrey (Bob) Fitzgerald, David (Ruth) and George (Linda); six grandchildren: Danielle (Jason), Gillian (Kevin), Amanda (Sean), George (Stephanie), Darrell (Lisa) and Tara Nelson); sister Suzie Mercer and close friend and niece Florence Cave; best friend and buddy dog Taz; also several nieces, nephews and a wide circle of relatives and friends. Special thanks to Sis Gallagher for her help during our time of need. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
