SHERRIFF, VIOLET MAY (HOVEY) - Of Westfield, NB passed away on December 2, 2008 at the age of 69 after fighting a long battle with cancer. Violet is survived by her Husband, Arnold; two Sons, Kevin (Sandy) and Kenneth; two Daughters, Katherine and Carol Collings (Ken); eight grandchildren, three great grand children, five brothers, three sisters, several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; Ralph and Mary (King) Hovey, one Sister and five Brothers. "You never really leave a place you love. You take a part of it with you, leaving a part of you behind." Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). There will not be any visitation or Funeral Service at her request. If desired, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Full Gospel Assembly at 34 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Saint John East.
