It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sandra Jane Gilley announce her passing on Wednesday, December 26th, 2007 at her family residence, Deer Lake at the age of 52 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: husband: Ruben Gilley; children: Lenora (Darryl) Nichols and John Young; grandchildren: Tyson, Abner, Hunter, Keean; brothers and sisters: Loretta (Kevin) LeRoux, Mary (Tom) Hynes, Maureen (Roderick) Young, Kevin Barker, Thomas (Myra) Barker, Terrance (Diana) Barker, Bill Barker, Gerald (Mary) Barker, Peter Barker, Alfred (Sheila) Barker, Jude (Janet) Barker, as well as many nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents: Peter and Annie; brothers: Aloysius and Edward, sister-in-law Dorothy and her first husband Arthur Young. Visitation was held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service was held on Saturday, December 29th at 2:00 PM from St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church, Deer Lake with The Rt. Rev. Leonard Whitten officiating. Interment followed at Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
