MCKAY, PHYLLIS - Mrs. Phyllis McKay of Creek Lane Sussex passed away on December 14, 2008 at the age of 79. Phyllis was the daughter of the late Robert and Lillian (Tayes) Scott and was the wife of the late Willard McKay who passed away in 1979. Phyllis is survived by five daughters: Ruth Nelson (Mike), Maureen McMackin (Andy), Enid Bettle (Brad), Dawnella Smith, Bertha Corbett (Brian); her son: Thane McKay (Cindy); her brother, William Scott (Dorothy), 19 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was predeceased by her brother, James and by three grandchildren. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A Celebration of Phyllis's life will be held from St. Marks Anglican Church on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at 10:00 am. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery.
