It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sheila Hawco (nee Pinsent) announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Monday, December 31, 2007 at the age of 81 years. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald “Red”, and her daughter Diane. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her five sons, Garry (Jane) of Brampton, Ontario, Terry (Darlene) and Rick (Christina), all of Stephenville, Tom (Jenny) and Glen (Tammy), all of Cold Lake, Alberta, six daughters, Michelle (Ian) Stokes, Sis, Debbie, Sheila, all of Stephenville, Sandy Johnson (Rob) of Edmonton, Alberta, Marie Hawco in Halifax, Nova Scotia, twenty grandchildren: Tracey, Steven, Dereck, Laurie, Nicole, Michael, Brandi, Gail, Brian, Randi, Alex, Katie, Kale, Samantha, Jamie, Aaron, Makenzie, Cassidy, Beth, Kate, five great-grandchildren: Emily, Abigail, Paige, Evan, Autumn. Also leaving to mourn her extended family, Billy Hynes, Val Hawco, Christine Rumbolt, Eddie Johnson, Darren Beson, Cline Alexander and a large circle of relatives and friends. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, January 4th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to a charity of one’s choice would be greatly aappreciated.
