MCKINNEY, GLENDA DAWN - The death of Glenda Dawn (Fenton) McKinney of Barnesville, wife of Rhys "Buckie" McKinney, occurred on Friday, January 16th, 2009, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marjorie (MacBeth) Fenton. Glenda was a member of Barnesville Presbyterian Church. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Besides her husband, Buckie, Glenda is also survived by four sons, Troy (Fiona) of Saint John, Eric (Cyndi) of Edmonton, AB, Joseph of Saint John and Liam (Jennifer) also of Edmonton; one sister, Cathy Spinney (Peter) of Saint John; two brothers, Raymond Fenton (Carol) of Saint John and Robert Fenton (Beverley) of Edmonton; nine grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral will be held Tuesday, January 20th, 2009 at Barnesville Presbyterian Church, at 11:30 AM, with Rev. Kent Burdett officiating. The pallbearers will be: Jennifer and Stephanie Spinney, Gina Moore, Matthew Fenton, Doug Hanson and Mark Stymist. Honourary pallbearers will be: her four sons and their wives; as well as, grandchildren, Britani, Jennifer, Emma, Shamus, Nadea, Sara, Kallie, Malia and Samairarose.
