It is with great sadness that the family of the late Venna White announce his passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the age of 82 years. He will be sadly missed by one son, Donald Tobin of New Brunswick; one daughter, Joan Lucas of Shallop Cove; two brothers: Max White and Fred White; two sisters: Helen Bennett of Stephenville Crossing and Blanche; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Saddie; brother, Adolph; sisters: Annie and Matilda. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Stephenville Crossing on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 16th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George’s with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Shallop Cove.
